Clinics of Hearing and Balance Clinics are being run under the management & supervision of Mr. Zia Mahmood,AuD(Doctor of Audiology). Mr. Mahmood has more than 22 years of experience as a clinical audiologist. He graduated in 1984 as a medical doctor. He also has post-graduation in otolaryngology. He has worked as an Otolaryngologist and Audiologist in Pakistan and other countries for many years. He has a Master’s degree in Audiological Medicine from the University of Manchester, UK. He also has a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D) degree from Salus University, USA. He is registered with CASLPO and has been working in Canada since 2005.
Mr. Mahmood is one of the pioneers in audiology who has started balance assessment in Canada. Previously he had worked at many clinics to provide these advanced audiology services. Now he has started the first clinic of its kind to help the community in Scarborough. He can also speak Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi & Arabic, which is very valuable in the multicultural society of Canada.
